Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

Welcome to Holsworthy High School.

Nestled in Sydney's South West, Holsworthy High School is a comprehensive, co-educational school that operates in a safe and nurturing environment. We strive to empower students to take responsibility for their actions and to be proud of their efforts. Our school offers a diverse range of subjects designed to challenge all interests and abilities within an inclusive, positive, and supportive learning environment. Alongside the curriculum, we provide a wealth of extra-curricular activities including numerous sports, debating, creative arts and after school clubs, offering students a wide variety of educational experiences to explore and focus on their individual passions.

We have built a strong culture founded on positive and productive relationships between students, staff, parents, and the wider community. The Parents and Citizens of Holsworthy maintain strong involvement in school life, serving as a vital link among all community members, while our student leadership program provides authentic leadership opportunities promoting student voice. Additionally, our close connections with feeder primary schools—Holsworthy Public School, Hammondville Public School, and Wattle Grove Public School—foster a seamless community of learning for both students and staff.

At Holsworthy High School, we are committed to cultivating a culture of continuous improvement among students and staff alike. We aspire to develop our students as active, respectful members of society, ready to contribute positively to their communities. We are immensely proud of our school, our students, our teachers, and our community. This website offers a glimpse into the vibrant and enriching environment we provide, and we warmly invite you to explore what Holsworthy High School has to offer your child.

Welcome to the Holsworthy High School community.
